A photo tour of Piedmont, California!
Piedmont, California is a unique town of about 11,000 people and 3300 homes halfway up the East Bay Hills across the Bay from San Francisco. Founded in 1907, the town sports its own services and school district (it shares Oakland's library system). It's been my home for over ten years.
Much information about demographics, history, community organizations and institutions can be found at the City's website (www.ci.piedmont.ca.us, particularly in the Community Links section). Also see http://www.bayareacensus.ca.gov/cities/Piedmont.xls for census data.
Get a sense of the town from my website (www.MaureenKennedy.Net --particularly check out the historic home match-game developed by Jacob Andreas to celebrate Piedmont's centennial in 2007) and from my blog (www.activerain.com/blogs/makennedy). In addition, I've developed a number of additional factsheets that relocating households find useful. Email me at Kennedy@MaureenKennedy.Ntet, and I'll forward you that website and password information (it's a "drop"--an attempt to get you the information instantly, without paper and postage).
For full descriptions to go along with the photos above, click on "Rooms" from the left menu--this will bring you to the photos and their paragraph-long descriptions.
If you'd like to get a sense of my real estate practice, click on "Property Reports" to the left and check out the Recent Clients and their Homes factsheet.
Feel free to contact me for more information, or for a no-pressure, one-hour tour of Piedmont and/or a longer visit to Berkeley, Emeryville, and Oakland. I look forward to being of service!
